2019 Archer Homecoming Dance 


Saturday, October 19th, 2019 
At Archer Commons Area 
8-11pm
Tickets $15 (price increases on October 5th) 
*Limited number of tickets to be sold*
Tickets may be purchased on MyPaymentsPlus 
Print your receipt as proof of purchase 
Deadline to purchase tickets: October 11th 
NO TICKETS SOLD AT DOOR 

RULES 


1. If you are bringing a date who DOES NOT ATTEND AHS, you must have them fill out the 2019 homecoming permission form and turn it in by October 9th, 2019 to Ms. Haney or Ms. Alexander. 
2. No middle school students are allowed to attend Homecoming Dance.
3. No one over the age of 20 yrs. old is allowed to attend Homecoming dance.
4. Proper attire is expected for all homecoming attendees. Garments that are too revealing or inappropriate for a school function may prohibit admission to homecoming. This is a Semi-Formal event. NO SWEATPANTS OR ATHLETIC CLOTHING ALLOWED. 
5. Inappropriate dancing at homecoming can result in student(s) dismissal from the event. 

 

HOMECOMING FAQs:

 

  1.  Can students campaign for Homecoming Court?
    1. Archer High School does not allow for students to campaign for court via posters, t-shirts, snacks or other means during the school day.
  2. Can students conduct Homecoming ‘proposals’ at school?
    1. Archer High School does NOT authorize proposals during the school day.
  3. Is there a dress code?
    a. Yes! Proper attire is expected for all homecoming attendees. Garments that are too revealing or inappropriate for a school function may prohibit admission to homecoming. This is a Semi-Formal event (NO sweatpants or athletic clothing allowed).
  4.  What do I need for entry to the dance?
    1. You must bring your MyPaymentsPlus receipt verifying your name and your purchase-printed from MyPaymentsPlus AND your Student ID.
  5. What do I need to do if I am bringing a date that does not attend Archer High School?
    1. You must complete a Homecoming Date form provided by the school.  You can get this on the school website, homecoming website or from the front office. 
  6.  Once I leave from the dance, am I allowed to return?
    1. No.  Once a student leaves, they are no longer allowed to return to the dance.
  7. What if I have an emergency and my parent is in the parking lot needing to see me?
    1. You must find a teacher or administrator that is able to escort you to the parking lot to meet your parent and walk you back to the dance.  IF YOU LEAVE-EVEN IF FOR AN EMERGENCY-YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED RE-ENTRY UNLESS YOU HAVE A TEACHER/ADMINISTRATOR ESCORTING YOU.
